How membership works.

Membership rules

Lobola is an application-based community. Membership is granted at our discretion after review, and can be withdrawn if these terms are not honoured.

• You must be 18 or older and legally free to form a relationship.
• One account per person, in your own real name, with photographs of yourself.
• Your application must be accurate. Misrepresentation is grounds for removal.
• Membership is personal to you and cannot be shared or transferred.
• Paid membership renews until cancelled; you can cancel at any time from Membership settings.

User responsibilities

You are responsible for your account and for how you treat other members.

• Keep your sign-in details private and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse.
• Use Lobola for personal, non-commercial introductions only.
• Do not solicit money, promote a business, or recruit members to other services.
• Do not copy, share or publish another member's photographs or messages.
• Do not attempt to access data, accounts or systems that are not yours.

Community standards

Lobola exists for members seeking meaningful, marriage-minded relationships. We expect courtesy.

• No harassment, hate speech, discrimination or threats.
• No sexually explicit, violent or unlawful content.
• No impersonation, catfishing or deceptive behaviour.
• Respect a member's silence: interest is private and never obliges a reply.
• Report concerns through the Report or Block option so our team can act.

Content ownership

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give Lobola a limited licence to host, resize and display your content to other members so that the service can operate.

That licence ends when you remove the content or delete your account, apart from copies we must briefly retain in backups or for legal reasons.

The Lobola name, design and software remain ours.

Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or end membership where these terms or our community standards are broken, where an account appears fraudulent, or where a member's conduct puts others at risk.

Where practical we tell you why and give you an opportunity to respond. Serious safety matters may be acted on immediately.

You can close your account yourself at any time from Privacy settings.

Liability limitations

Lobola introduces members; we do not vet every statement a member makes and we cannot guarantee any outcome. Meet new people sensibly and in public first.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the membership fees you have paid in the preceding twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting rights you have under your local consumer or data protection law.
